Ben Hilliard - Director of Business Development

Ben Hilliard has joined Beacon Scientific as Director of Business Development to further develop their growing position in Engineering Consulting. Ben comes with a broad range of experiences in numerous industries, including construction, professional sports, not for profit, and environmental science. A Certified Public Accountant, Ben is also a small business owner and has consulted with numerous small to midsize companies in all segments of business operations with an eye toward engineering healthy and sustainable growth.

Ben will be responsible for client relations and will ensure that Beacon capacities meet client needs and that processes and communications are appropriately streamlined. In addition, Ben will work closely with management to ensure that Beacon maintains its status as a top-tier employer and that all team members are given the appropriate tools to do their job effectively and efficiently.

Ben graduated from Salisbury University with a Business Administration degree (Marketing concentration). Following graduation, Ben attended the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. He lives in Arnold, MD with his amazing wife, two awesome children, and a loving Lab.
